Promise: a declaration that something will be done. When reading about Moses in Exodus he has struggles with Pharaoh the king of Egypt. Moses weary about going to go ask Pharaoh to let the people go. God has given Moses signs of his power by turning Moses staff into a serpent and then his hand to leprous like snow. In Exodus 3:12 God says: "But I will be with you" In Exodus 6:6-7 God promises that he will deleiver from slavery and of any burdens.
Whatever we face in life, there's always a light at the end of the tunnel. That light is God with arms open wide. Ready to save you from anything. His promise of deliverance is a promise of declaration that it WILL be done. He never fails, he never quits. In verse 7 it says: I am your God, and you shall know that. Are you serious??? There's someone out there that will save me from evil, take me out of sin, bring me to be in a relationship with him. I cant even begin to understand that, thats how crazy it is.
