Last night was another step in the right direction! For the past few weeks I’ve been in prayer mode about the next step after the World Race. The program CGA has been on my mind for a while, but hasn’t been as clear until Uganda. A fellow AIM employee and alum from Oklahoma State named Paul helped stir the thought of CGA again. We began having awesome conversations about the program. I prayed about it and got the green light. I began expressing interest to CGA admission staff. CGA staff and I had great conversations over the past few weeks.
Last night while checking my email, I received an email from CGA. I’ve been accepted into the program!! It was an awesome feeling! It’s becoming more and more real. The name of this program is Center for Global Action (CGA). At this program I will receive teaching from the staff and hands on experience within Adventures In Missions. Now, that it’s official I will start fundraising for this program.
The cost of this program is $3,600 for a year. It covers everything except food and Transportation (GAS). I ask that you pray that God lays it on your heart to donate. If thirty-six (36) people donate $100 I will be fully funded. Donations can be made through my World Race account at jacobmclafferty.theworldrace.org. It’s the same process as donating to the World Race, easy and hassle free.
This is a very exciting and unexpected time in my life. As I got ready for the World Race I thought I would just go home and start a normal life after the mission trip. Was I wrong? Yes, what’s normal about God? Nothing! And that’s why he wrecked my life while here on the mission field.
