new place. As I continue to publish here, I’ll fill out the site by
adding a description under “About” and a few other pages to set the
scene. I’ll explore what I can do with the layout and try to make it a
nice cozy place for all of you who have gotten used to my World Race
site.
I’m headed into a new chapter. I’ll talk a little more about that tomorrow. But that’s why I’m working on a new blog.
The last two-and-a-half years have been incredible. Not so
much life-changing, but life-defining. I’ve begun to chart a course.
And now I’m starting to put together what that course could look like.
I’m still not sure what we’re looking at in the day-to-day, say, five
years down the road — or even one year down the road, for that matter.
More than what I’m called to do, I know who I’m called to be. I want
to live out of that. I want to take who I know the Lord has called me
to be and translate that into what the Lord has called me to do.
That’s the journey this blog will trace. Whereas the World
Race traced my journey from “no clue who I am” to “understanding who I
am and who I am called to be”, this blog will hopefully trace my journey
from “who I’m called to be” to “what I’m called to do”. And I’m sure
even the perspective of what those things mean will change in the mean
time.
So I can’t guarantee I’m here to stay. But I think I’ll be
here for a while. And as I go from this place, I’m glad you’ll be there
to go with me.
