Hey all!  The team is safe and sound in Moshi, Tanzania.  Since I wrote to you last we have changed our team name twice.  From OneThirtyThree, to Alloy, to Fuse (as in being fused together).  I have voiced some good-natured discomfort with inefficiency in making decisions and a desire to be a bit more steadfast.  Throughout our naming difficulties, however, we have maintained that our focus is Psalm 133 where we read that unity in the Body with release the anointing of the Spirit.  We hope to come together and see our power released out of our unity under Christ.

After two days at a YWAM base with Team Clay, waiting for the details with our contact to be ironed out, we have made it to our month’s ministry location in Moshi.  We are staying with a man named Kimate and his wife and daughters.  Kimate has a beautiful home with a small guest house.  Three of our women are staying in the guest house and the other four of us have set up our tents in Kimate’s back yard.  We wake up every morning with a clear view of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the sound of a nearby river in our ears.  It’s pretty darn wonderful.

Our plans as of yet are day-to-day, but Kimate, the church’s secretary, is a wonderful man and he and his wife are very accomodating.  I feel like we need to be praying freedom in Moshi, and I am excited to see what the Lord does with a very open schedule.

On the 19th, the men will be traveling back to Nairobi to meet up with some people from the Masai tribe.  We will do two weeks of manistry with them and and will have an opportunity to be initiated as Masai warriors (after we investigate some of the details of what that might entail).

I’m excited to be getting settled a little more with our location and my team.  As I do I will be doing all I can to keep you updated.  Thank you for your support and your prayers.  Blessings on you all!
