Jenny Brown and I – June ‘O’ Squad co-leaders
Hey all!
Today is the day that the June 2010 World Race Squad flies out to their first country, Ukraine. In a couple hours I’ll be at the airport to receive everyone and help them get through check-in and security to get on their flights.
When I was on the World Race the first time I didn’t mind travel days. I would just put my iPod in my ears and wait for someone to tell me where to go. This time around I have to actually lead people through the airport. At least I now have the perspective that minor bumps and hold-ups usually work themselves out and everything turns out OK.
Pray for us as we reunite and travel. All the Racers are sure to be very excited, nervous, anxious, etc.
And now a new journey begins!
