We here in the Atlanta area were snowed in most of last week. The Adventures in Missions offices were closed Monday through Thursday. I got some work done, but mostly it felt like vacation. Hence the blogging hiatus.
Now I’m back. In my last blog I talked about confronting some dreams together. Below is a video of a guy who I think has ridden one of his dreams pretty far. Jon Acuff writes Stuff Christians Like, a blog that pokes fun at the little parts of Christianity most of us notice but aren’t willing to recognize.
He’s made his way to a mild level of fame over the last couple of years. In this video he talks, toward the end, about how we can have a full-time life and a full-time dream. He also talks about why our dreams can’t simply be dreams, but why they must be more.
I’m headed to Cambodia tomorrow and I’ll be back next Tuesday. Hopefully I’ll be able to share with you once while I’m there. At the very least I’ll give you an update when I get back. In the meantime, enjoy this short message from Jon Acuff.
