Today, I hope you will understand the timing of God. I hope you recognize His generosity, His goodness, and His blessings in your own life. & I dearly hope that you will learn to trust in His faithfulness.
I tend to internalize everything — all my struggles and thoughts in particular and overthink daily waaaay too many times to count. Lately I’ve been wondering if what I’m doing here is making any difference. Am I really supposed to be across the world right now? Does my being here even positively affect anyone here? Does what I have to say matter? Is it ok to be myself and put my opinion out there in the open? Am I free to actually be me?
Just in the past 3 days I have received so many emails, donations, phone calls, and words of encouragement from many people — some of whom I don’t even know. Of course I have appreciated each and every single one, but I still had my doubts for myself as well as for God’s plan. This morning I happened to check my email and I read my daily devotional that I get sent to my email. The title was “God’s Timing and Plan for You.”
The devotion read on about how wherever you are in life, you’re there for a reason. We will never know the full impact of our lives while we are still here on earth. We will never know who is watching us when we’re not looking. We will never know that maybe in the way we smile others will be impacted. Wow, that really opened my eyes and gave me a new perspective on the significance of my being here. I am here to bring the gospel truth to the nations. I am here to be present and build relationships. I am here to grow in more significant ways in my relationship with God and continue most of those relationships when I return home. God doesnt waste a moment. He doesn’t waste a person. You are created for a reason and you matter to Him.
I want to thank all of my supporters for your generous donations, sweet words, and encouragement!! Your support gives me confidence that what I have to share DOES matter and I am so thankful for God for putting You in my path along this journey.
Thank you all! Stay tuned! More blogs and pictures to come ????????
