I've been on a blogging hiatus this past month, partially by choice and partially because life was happening so fast I barely had time to process. But that's changing… Starting now. Hiatus over. So much has taken place in my life since April and boy, is God so good! I'll spare you the nitty gritty details and take you on a whirlwind tour of April. In the last month I have…
Graduated!
Yes, yes…I did it!! I walked across that huge stage, green gown and cap falling off my head and I graduated! It was such a fun day celebrating with family and friends.

Said Goodbye!
To Michigan State, to professors, friends, coworkers, my apartment and the "college life." It was so bittersweet and my heart still squeezes a little thinking about it. But oh, how wonderful to think of what God has done in my life during my time at school. I just want to sing praises when I think about how blessed the last three years of my life have been. Praise Him!

Moved…
Notice the lack of an "!" because, oh how I dread moving. But it was worth it, because I swear there's nothing better than hearing your little brother complaining about all the hair in the bathroom and being able to remind him that when you're gone for a year he's going to miss the little things… Even the hair and the loud singing, the dramatic dancing in the kitchen and those special nights when I crawl in bed with him and tell funny jokes and silly stories and keep him up way past his bedtime.

Started my internship!
I'm so thankful to be a part of the team at the Muskegon Rescue Mission. I have my own desk right next to the copy machines, perfect for meeting everyone I work with and my faith is growing by the second during my time there. I'm learning just how much God loves His children, I'm seeing people be the hands and feet of Jesus and I'm learning to discern the Spirit's voice in the smallest of ways throughout my day. I found myself driving down the road praying for God to bring soap to the Food Pantry because we were all out of toiletry products… I knew as soon as I realized I was praying for soap of all things and believing that He actually would, that I wasn't the same person as when I walked through those doors on my first day. Romans 8:28… God works for the good of those who love Him, and I'm so thankful for that!
I think that covers the major life events up until now. My days have been filled with driving and working, snuggling with my dog and going on walks, getting ice cream, hanging out with my family, a trip to the beach, catching up with friends and learning to (somewhat) embrace support raising and World Race preparations as best as I can.
