I have made it safely to Nepal! We are currently just chilling for a few days here in Kathmandu. This blog post will be a recap of what I thought about India. I am writing this on my phone (whoever has the key to my room is not here right now, so I can’t get my computer) so this will be a short blog post.
India is an amazing country. It’s diverse, the people are extremely hospitable, and it is vastly different from the “norm” of life at home. I cannot explain well enough what India is actually like. I got to see so many things that I’ve never seen before, and I will never forget my time there. I’ll miss walking around the compound where we stayed, and being able to look out the window and see miles upon miles of trees. I’ll miss looking off the roof and seeing ornately designed buildings. I’ll miss one of the locals bringing us hot tea every morning. Who am I kidding, I’ll miss getting tea a few times a day. The tea was so good. Mmmm. I love tea. Wait, what were we talking about? India? Oh that’s right. I’ll also miss the rain that made the world seem to slow down. Really I’ll miss everything a little bit. Everything except the bugs. I hate insects. I already made a blog post about the bugs, so I will refrain from ranting about them. All in all, India was a good experience. God has been talking to me a lot already, and I’m excited to see what he tells me in the coming months. Thank you all for supporting me thus far, and keep me in your prayers as I keep you in mine.
