I have been to a few different countries in my day, and they each have their own little quirks. Coming to India, I was expecting things to be rough. Don’t get me wrong, I love India, and it’s a great place. But, I was not expecting the gates of Hell to open every night, and release thousands of insects. You think I’m joking? I’m not. Every single night, there are thousands of little black bugs that cover everything. They cover the walls, the floors, the toilets (which are just holes in the ground), and even our clothes. Just talking about them makes my skin crawl. Every morning, the locals who live here have to sweep all of the little black devils out. It is insane. If the bugs were just on the walls, or if they were hiding where we could not see them, I would be fine with them. Every morning and evening however, I can hear the crunch, crunch, crunch of the little black buggers underneath my feet. I am most certainly rambling, but I just had to let y’all know the sheer amount of insects that are here. I know that I’m under a higher protection, so no matter how many bugs bite me, I’ll be fine. Oh yea, don’t even get me started on the spiders….

Note: I will try to write another blog post to update y’all on ministry as soon as I can, but I’ve run into technical difficulties.
