It’s been a crazy couple of months. Everything is a whirlwind of packing, fundraising, working, vaccinations, trying to get my last bit of time in with my friends and family before I leave for a year, and everything else. At times it is incredibly overwhelming, but through it all I’ve seen the work of God in incredible ways.
He is our Provider and He is providing, currently I’ve raised $6,912, hitting my first goal and leaving me a mere $2,100 from the next deadline coming up soon.
He is our wonderful Counselor, and He is counseling. There is no way I could have made it through the stress and at times straight up panic, if it weren’t for the unconditional love and peace of our Savior.
He is our Shepherd, and He is leading. From the churches He’s brought me to, to the people He’s brought into my life, to every detail of the way these past couple of months have gone down, His plan and His wisdom have been clearly evident.
He is our God, and He is faithful. There are still a thousand and one things that need to get done, I need to finish packing, I need the rest of the funds, I need gear, the rest of my vaccinations, transportation down to Florida to catch my flight to Colombia, and on and on, but I can rest in the knowledge that our God is not a halfway kind of Savior. He doesn’t give up on us, He doesn’t just take us partway and ditch, He is faithful. He straight up tells us in His word that we don’t need to worry about it. “Do not be anxious about ANYTHING.” How crazy is it, that with all this stuff to do and to worry about, God says no, knock it off. He is going to take the worry and the strain and the stress, and all I have to take is a heart of prayer and thanksgiving. It is mind blowing.
So today all I can do is thank God for how good and awesome and true He is, for His faithfulness and His leading and His counseling and provision, and to thank Him for bringing each one of you into my life.
And thank you to all of you. Thank you for your support whether financially or through prayer and encouragement, it means so much to me, and God is using you to impact my life in incredible ways. Thank you!
May God bless you and keep you,
Sincerely,
Jackie
