Have you ever been shocked by something that happened to you? Were you ever blindsided by an unexpected event? I remember talking to my mentor, Carmella, about this back in Nepal. This is a topic we don’t talk about much but we should. Truth is what happens to us doesn’t shock God. Events of loss, hurt and pain are inevitable to occur up in our daily routines. However, there are truths that may help us during these times. Promises that God gives us. I have listed the promises below so we can let His word be ACTIVE in our lives. We don’t have control over circumstances but we can have control over our emotions. There are things we can do to control our view on situations.
This topic was brought back to mind after I found our about the Thomas Fire back home. I’m praying circles over my county, my city, my family, my friends and my church members. Praying for safety, love, comfort, provision and health. We don’t have yesterday; we aren’t guaranteed tomorrow but we have today. May we use it wisely and constantly love. It comes down to LOVE. May we always find Love in any circumstance. This blog is dedicated to people going through hurt, worry, loss, grief and any unexpected suffering. May you always find Jesus at the end of the tunnel; He’s the light.
