What is important to you?  What do you really need?  What things could you live without?  What can you fit in a backpack for a year?

Questions keep going through my head.  I am now in Georgia at training.  I am enjoying my time.  We live at the AIM base, check out these videos that Brandon made of our gorgeous living envirement(http://brandonheadrick.theworldrace.org/index.asp?filename=aim-training-camp-day1 and http://brandonheadrick.theworldrace.org/index.asp?filename=aim-training-hygene-day-3.  These are great videos for you to truly understand what I am going through.

Right now I feel like I am totally out of my comfort zone.  I have had to go to plenty of meetings just learning about God’s greatness and lovingness.  I was able to live outside in a treehouse for two nights.  I am excited for being able to take a daily shower.  I would never think I could live like this, but I know that it will be the best year of my life.  The following are a list of things that I struggle with, but with a praise at the end.

I have a hard time with the porta potties(I am starting to wonder what day they will empty them), but I praise God for a private place that I can go to the restroom. Next year I will crave having a porta potty to use.

The bunk beds are 4 high and I am living on a piece of plywood.  I am thankful that I have a dry place with a roof that will keep me safe.

I have to take a cold shower and put my dirty clothes on since I still have another 8 days until I do laundry.  I praise God that I am able to have a shower to take and that I get time to do this.

I am so thankful that God has chosen me on this adventure.  I am super thankful for the people that are supporting me in both prayer and money.  I can’t wait until next year when I can look back on what God has taught me.
