I’m the only person who can change me.
The Lord gives us the opportunity to change, but it is our choice. He doesn’t force us into anything, but He will encourage us.
There are things only He can do, and tasks He has given us to do.
The other day, my teammate Kevin asked me to read the devotional he had read for that day and a specific sentence stood out.
“We are in danger of forgetting that we cannot do what God does, and that God will not do what we can do.”
Many times I’ve tried to do what only God can do and not what He has given me to do.
At the moment, is there anything that you have been trying to do that only God can do? Or is there something He has given you the ability to do that you are waiting for Him to do?
Instead of trying to switch roles with God, step into what he has given you the ability to do and He will do what you cannot do.
Do your part and He will do His.
Don’t focus on what you cannot do, but instead trust God and do what He has given you to do.
