From where we're sitting, Moriah and I can see everything that's going on. What if we go talk to the guy? She suggests,. The man dressed in a collared shirt and khaki shorts, wearing glasses, looks more like somone you may sit next to at church and not someone to be found here.
Moriah tells me that God put it on her heart to do something for the men. If we stop one working girl, another could be put in her place. If we stop one guy, there's one less guy supporting this industry. When the demand decreases, the supply decreases. "Let's pray that God will tell us his name." I felt an urge for this specific prayer.
We both prayed separately and go the name "John", wow, God is good!
We waited for an opportunity to approach him but none came, as the two of them flirted and eat dinner at the table. Maybe we could write him a note. So Moriah finds a receipt on the table and writes the following:
"John,
You shouldn't be here and you know it.
Leave now!
She is worth more than your money.
You will never be satisfied.
Jesus is all you need.
John 3:16 Jesus loves you."
We decide to leave it in the restroom at the bar right before he went in (Thank you Lord for the perfect timing and location to place the note). As Moriah came out of the restroom, I went in and carefully placed the note inside where he couldn't possibly miss. As I came out, I see the man went inside the bathroom.
In my minds eye, I see him inside the restroom, pausing as he finds the note, picks it up and reads it. Perplexed, he washes his hands, leaves the restroom, does NOT stop back at the table where the girl is but walks straight out of the bar.
And the note, it remains in the same place where John found it, to be read by the next man who comes into the bar.
Holy Spirit, only You can turn the hearts of men from the need for physical pleasure with a woman in prostitution and point them to an everlasting INTIMACY that never runs dry. It's my prayer that as the men and women of L Squad work with sex traffickin prevention, and bar ministries this month, that God will go before us and make His name known to whomever He puts in front of our paths.

** This month the twelve women from both Team Sweet Aroma and my team, Team Shiloh are in Thailand working with a ministry that rescues young boys and girls from being sold into sex trafficking and takes them to live in safe homes. The night at the bars I wrote about is not my ministry this month, but it gave me a vivid image of the lives of these "working Thai women", and that the boys and girls I am beginning to love on this month will NOT following their footsteps due to this awesome ministry.

Two Thai girls and I at the grounds of their safe home. They speak a tad of English and love to say my name in their thai accent. They braid my hair for hours on end and I come out with a new hairdo every dinner.

The boys waving goodbye to me after church and going back to their safe home. They are really fun and love to play tither ball, alot of them are learning Chinese, so I get to be their Chinese tutor this month!
More facts on prostitution
Prostition is not legal in Thailand, yet it's a practice that is unofficially ok'ed by the government and citizens.
Prostition in the US is a $14 billion per year industry. Based on a 2004 poll,15 percent of all men have paid for sex and 30 percent of single men over age 30 have paid for sex. What will you do today to not only stop this trend and statistic but prevent it from happening?
