1 YEAR AGO: I packed a bag, left SF, met up with 60 strangers who were also crazy enough to leave their lives behind and go far away to see God move, took my crutches and got on a wheelchair at the airport and flew off to Guatemala to start an 11 months misadventure around the world.
1 YEAR LATER: I'm back in the Bay Area, with new wrinkles on my now tanned and weathered skin, finally-healed but scarred ankle, a new bagful of stories, a mind full of global memories/faces/images, and a heart filled with big thanks.
