After 77 hours of travel from Atlanta->D.C.->Qatar->Johannesburg->Port Elizabeth->Jeffery’s Bay…

Ever since I have gotten to Jeffery’s Bay, God has made it so easy for me to thank him. I have been blessed with so many things since I have gotten here. My squad and I live in a few houses on the same campus of private christian school called Global Leadership Academy.

In one direction of our campus you see the mountains of northern Africa and you look the other way and see the ocean that leads all the way to Antartica. It is so beautiful. Our host family welcomed us so quickly that Im already at the point where I call the mother mom. The weather here is amazing, and the people are so loving and curious about God. I am more than content here. I genuinely have not had this much joy in my life. God is present in this community.

Thinking about leaving this place is very hard. I will be here for a month and that is a long time, but even after just a few days I feel like God has brought me here to see what he is doing with these amazing people. Not only that but also to learn a lot from them as well.

I am so excited to see what God has in store for my squad and I here in J-Bay. I am looking forward to sharing how much God is doing for these people and I hope more than anything that everyone sitting here reading this blog can articulate the beauty of his work.

I apologize for not updating everyone sooner! I wrote this blog over a week ago and haven’t had the chance to go to a coffee shop and get some wifi to post it. I am going to try my best to post one blog per week, but if that doesn’t happen just know I will still be writing a blog per week so as soon as I get wifi I will post all of the blog together that I have yet to post.

God Bless!
