Some pictures from the months of December and February, both spent in Cape Town, South Africa. Unfortunately I could not gain access to many pictures from our ministry in Westlake Primary School from this month. I did not take all of these.
Team Pop Collar on Christmas Eve. The ladies were sweet and bought us all matching jammies.
Christmas Eve in the CAFDA community. We put on a summer camp program during the week and ended it on Christmas Eve with some carols. I am on drums.
Unknown surfer attempting to make it out of the dangerous and powerful shore break at Kommetjie. I have loved spending my off days surfing the forgiving and mild waves at Muizenberg. Five times I have summoned the courage to take a taxi to the other side of the Cape and try my luck on the heavy, formidable waves at Kommetjie. The water on the Atlantic side is brutally cold no matter what time of year. Incredible memories here.
Me and some friends moments before running the Cape Peninsula Half Marathon. Big thanks to Rye for always encouraging us to stay fit. He is fit.
Muizenberg at dusk. False Bay.
Matt and I at Cape Point. Gorgeous hike to the location where that Atlantic Ocean and the Indian Ocean meet. This was shot on Matt’s GoPro. He loves his GoPro.
