The past couple months God has been doing some AMAZING things in my life. Now today as I am writing this I am beginning packing for training camp tomorrow. I’ve been busy these past few months with my preparation for camp and the trip in general. I have had numerous opportunities to speak to younger and older groups of people about my trip. Also, I have already passed my JULY DEADLINE OF $10,000! So i’ll talk about some of the public speaking I did and the fundraising.

Fundraising has been phenomenal so far! I have written support letters, sold coffee, and had a garage sale. I wrote my support letters first and sent this to roughly 60 members of my family,my friends family, co-workers, church friends, and parents co-workers. Probably about 90 percent of the donations to my mission so far are due to these letters! So I am very grateful for everyones generosity!

Sarah Beaver (friend/fellow racer) and I recently put together a garage sale of donated clothes, toys, furniture, and other donations from our friends. We also sold Cedarburg Roastery Coffee. Luckily we were able to walk away with a few hundred dollars each my the end of the day!

Sarah and I also got the opportunity to speak at our school FCA program about our trip! It was an awesome time and allowed to gain more more comfort about my decision after seeing the support of my friends! We also were given the opportunity to speak at the Crossroads Church Youth Group!

Today as I’m writing this I am beginning my packing for camp this week. My emotions right now are everywhere but I am beyond excited about what God is going to do in  my life these next ten days. I’m looking forward to meeting my squad and meeting my team!

Also I may not have mention this yet, but my route was changed last week! This was because of so many people in the first route and not many in the 2nd route that they switched a few of us. I’m so excited about this need group; however, it is disappointing that I will not be traveling with Sarah. But my new route will consist of Guatemala, Cambodia, and Lesotho!!!!! I am so excited for this and sure it is all part of God’s plan.

Thanks you so much to everyone who has supported me financially and with there prayers! It is greatly appreciated. Also, I’d like to give a huge thanks to my home church of Christ Church for presenting me with a $3,000 donation at church this week! I’m so blessed to belong to such a giving and loving church!

My next blog post will be up shortly after training camp is over! Thank you and Godbless!
