So there has been a slight change in this month. We are in Albania but Adventures in Missions asked us to go to Lesvos, Greece to work with Samaritans Purse and help Syrian Refugees.

This was a very drastic change in the plans, but hey being flexible is what being a missionary is all about. When I first heard about it I was actually pretty upset. We were working at a camp/farm, feeding, cleaning, the animals, and doing some pretty major demolition. I loved doing all of that because I love working hard, and I really respected our ministry host. He can be pretty blunt sometimes but I liked that.

I was expecting this month to be a big growth month for a lot of the squad because they didn’t mesh very well with our host. After the announcement of us going to Greece, I was pretty upset because I really liked it there, but after spending time with God it hit me that God placed me here for a reason. It is going to push me so much and it is going to be extremely hard and uncomfortable. That excites me though. It excites me that my squad and me will be doing things that we can’t do by ourselves. We are going to be doing things where we need to 100% lean into God and have God be our strength.

So please be praying for my squad and me as we prepare to be on the front lines. Please pray for safe travels, and safety when we are there.

Thank you guys so much,

Jack
