Thoughts, travels, treasures
Part 1 : “It is almost time to leave. How do you feel?”

[P.S. I thought that it would be fun to entertain your questions for the next post. Send me a question (or post questions in the comments section) in the next few days, and I will have a “Q and A session”- blog style.]

Countdown: 16 days. Throughout the past few days, a lot of people have asked me, “How do you feel about leaving on the race?” It is hard to pinpoint an exact emotion. Let’s see . . .  I’m excited, humbled by God’s grace, unsure of the unknown yet approaching the year with open hands, missing friends and family already, expecting to be changed, ready to serve in another context, and amazed that God has given me this opportunity.

September 5th

From the heart . . .
Black velvet adorned with brilliant crystals is beyond my reach-yet within my gaze’s limits. Your love, oh Father, is like this evening’s sky. Your eyes blaze with love for your children. Their gazes pierce my soul as the stars penetrate through the deep velvet sky. My soul is stamped with your signature. I am excited about the World Race because I know that you have called me to this journey for such a time as this. May this journey bring glory to your name.
