glimpses from camp . . .

[region-focused meal time]

[lots of dancing and laughter. so full of life.]
August 2
Training camp was incredible. The Lord worked in many ways. For me, this past week was a week of incredible bonding with my squad, restoration and healing in my own heart, and intense preparation for the work God has called me in my years to come. This past week the Lord has confirmed my calling to the World Race in many ways. I experienced the Lord’s presence like never before and his peace that passes all understanding. It is difficult to articulate what a blessing this past week was. I needed this week to connect to genuine community. My pre-World Race life has ended. I am now stepping into a new chapter. I am being transformed day by day. I am walking by faith, not by sight. I choose to live a life that is patterned after Christ. My life is forever changed. I have not left for the World Race, but in my mind, the journey has already begun.
[Declarations and prayers from my journal post training camp] . . . .
May my life reflect God’s glory. May my mouth speak life and not death. I walk in a land of abundance of God’s blessings, not scarcity. Thus, I choose to rejoice in my brothers’ and sisters’ blessings. I choose to walk in the love of Christ. I choose to lift up my brothers and sisters in Christ even when I am weak. I choose to desire things of Christ and heaven instead of worldly possessions. I choose to walk in obedience. I am a princess of the most high. I will walk in freedom. I am no longer enslaved to my own sin- Christ carried my sin and died for me 2,000 years ago. I will walk in peace not anxiety. I am beautiful. I am talented- God gave me creativity. I am in love with my Beloved. He is magnificent. His love abounds. I choose to walk in truth. I will fight the enemy’s lies. I will walk in God’s presence. I choose to stop and listen to His voice for my Abba Father speaks truth and life. I AM HIS precious daughter. He desires good for me. I choose to live in genuine community. I desire after my Father, my Abba daddy, my King, my Beloved. God is my provider. I choose to fight for justice. I will pray for the orphans and widows. I choose to walk in peace not fear. I am forever changed.
