Throughout this World Race process so far I’ve been really trying to stay on top of writing Thank-You notes. I’m really good at writing them, but then I forget to send them a lot of the time. So far though, I’ve sent out all my Thank-You notes. Thank-You notes for donations, the T-shirt fundraiser, and encouragement from people. I was also planning on sending individual Thank-You notes for people who helped with the Pie Auction, but seriously….that would be impossible for me to complete because of how many of you helped me with the Pie Auction. I mean, I had 27 pies last night. And it was amazing. So this whole blog post is dedicated to YOU!
Thank-You for making me pies, cookies, bars, desserts.
Thank-You for bringing drinks, tea, soda, coffee
Thank-You for bidding on several pies and ending up buying all the pies you bid on
Thank-You for helping me set up the Cube auditorium
Thank-You for buying decorations to make everything look spectacular
Thank-You for my technical needs and hooking up the video and sound and microphone
Thank-You for helping me pick up pies and desserts and take some of them across the street
Thank-You for all your donations
Thank-You for coming to hear me speak about something that I’m so excited about
Thank-You for your questions and attentiveness
Thank-You for spreading the word about my event on facebook
Thank-You for your encouragement
Thank-You for your kind words
Thank-You for your prayers
Thank-You for spreading the word through your church about my pie auction
Thank-You for the Church of Shawnee, not just one church, but all the Christ followers, for supporting me and loving me even though I’m not an official member of a church in Shawnee
Thank-You for your time
Thank-You for your donations
Thank-You for buying the pie I made even though it’s probably not very good
That’s a lot of Thank-You’s right there and it doesn’t even begin to scratch the surface of how incredibly blessed I am to call you all family and friends. Any time someone donates online I tear up that someone would think of me and believe in me enough to donate their money. Whether it’s $20 or $200, I feel so much gratitude every time.
One last Thank-You
Thank-You ALL for putting up with my fundraising posts on facebook and twitter and instagram and in person and through letters and me talking at sunday schools. I know it can get old, and I know that you won’t be able to support EVERY fundraiser I do. I don’t expect you all to support every single fundraiser. I am going to have a lot of fundraisers from now until May, just pick and choose as you will! And Sorry in advance for all the posts you’ll see, all the invites you’ll recieve, all the mail you’ll get. Just know, I’m incredibly greatful for you all.
