We did evangelism and God stretched me more in those two days than the whole race so far. I was asked to bring the word of God to people I just met, I needed to know scripture, I was asked to pray for healing. And guess what, God provided scripture for me to share. He provided the encouragement they needed to hear.
He used us to heal a man who had pains in his shoulder and hip. He had a bad cough and hadn’t been walking for a week. After we prayed he had no pain in his body and he walked 4 steps!
One man we met wanted to accept Christ. We prayed with him and his family came over. Then God used me to speak prophecy over this man. It was out of nowhere. Completely unplanned. And during paused for the interpreter to speak I remember looking at his son thinking..”what the heck is happening right now. Is this real life?”
I got to use scripture and my own struggles to speak encouragement to two of the women we met.
These last four days stretched me and strengthened me dramatically.
Now a picture says 1000 words. That sounds like a challenge, so I’m going to paint a picture using minimal words!
Tent sleeping. Bug swatting. Flies swarming. Snake sighting. Squatty pottying. Getting in trouble for peeing on a school. Thunder storming. Tent flooding. Chameleon holding. Me freaking out while holding the Chameleon. Children laughing. Queen Jacie of the village. Shakira dancing with a 70 year old woman. Too-Ti-Tahing. Sunset journaling. S’more making. Laughing and laughing and laughing.
I’ll be sharing Katie Ruther’s pictures when she gets them up. We were on the same team during this weekend and she really captures the beauty of the people and the place. She’s incredible.
I have 7 weeks left before all my money is due. Currently I only need $1,752 in order to be fully funded. All donations are tax deductible! Just click the support me tab on the left to give online!
