You probabaly we’re thinking by the title I was living with Justin Bieber, well sorry if I fooled you. JB actually stands for Jherson and Beth, the amazing people who ran the mission organization we worked alongside with. The organization is called Connextion, Jherson started it about sixteen years ago with his nephew Johnny. Jherson is from Columbia , he hates seafood and loves chicken. His favorite colors blue, and he even used to be a model. All random facts aside, he’s been one of the best people I’ve ever met and gotten to know. Now fun facts about Beth! She is from the United States, she has triplets, and she loves seafood!!
Here‘s a photo of these two amazing people, just so you can have a vision of who I’m writing about.
Be sure to check them out on Facebook (;
A few things JB showed me was
- don’t slam doors , it’s rude.
- Obedience to our Father, is so important.
- Rest is important.
- The relationships you build are more important then finishing a task.
- Love what you’re doing even if you don’t see the fruit from your labor immediately.
Another powerful duo I got to know in San Jose , was Kevin and Anna, our super special base host. They took care of any issues with the house and fed us with all our Father handed them to hand to us.
Things they showed me,
- look at the choices and things you do during your lifetime, no longer as right or wrong but does this bring me life or death?
- Your prayers are powerful.
- Community and relationships are so important (again) !
My days in San Jose consisted of fantastic days working with kids, beautiful times setting up trampolines, having the chance to hold my phone light up to help with a surgery, working with refugees, and beautiful travel free days getting to know the community and people in it. I’m attaching a link to a short video I made, this is just a few snapshots of some small moments but it holds a lot to my heart and all the people in it.
Things the Lord showed me
- everything I learned from my mentors.
- Say thank you instead of please.
- Date someone who looks to the Lord , who you can trust to make choices for you.
- Rest
- My acceptance is not from the world or things of the world ( such as social media) but from the Lord.
- Abundant Grace.
Please let me know what you think of the video! Also please feel free to reach out to me to know more about what I’m doing here!
