I am currently 18 years old. Some fun facts about me are that my favorite color is purple and I love photography!
So how did I end up here? One morning I went to grab some coffee and decided to sit outside at a nearby park and just have a relaxing morning before starting my day. ( this is something I find myself doing a lot , its just peaceful , I would 10/10 recommend doing this.) First I walked around the park and gathered some wildflowers then I laid down.While I was laying down looking up at the sky I decided to take some time to pray , and during my prayer I could feel God telling me to go. After that day I kept this to myself for a few weeks.
After a few weeks I started to receive powerful messages everywhere I went , EVERYWHERE!! In stores , while driving , and from my peers. One message however overpowered all of them. I was worshiping during a womans small group, and one of the worship leaders announced after worship that they felt God telling them that, someone in the room was being called to missions, but was letting small fears hold them back. I automatically knew this was for me and after that day decided to put everything behind me and listen. I prayed and found myself called to the semester programs they offer through Adventures in Missions.
As I began this journey the biggest word for me right now is growth. I believe growth can be rocky but, in the end is beautiful. I am so excited to dive into the next few months before starting my mission trip by listening , praying , and having trust while embracing the path God has laid out for me.
