The Dump, near Puerto Barrios, Guatemala, is a location were trash is taken to be disposed of. I have seen dumps before, but I have not seen dump sites that have families living and working at the dump site, until this one. There are several children who live and work at or near the site. These families work all day sorting and selling stuff (pop bottles, etc) in order to try to make some money to at least feed their families. Most of the children are sorting threw trash instead of going to school. We have been able to go to this location once a week to feed and play with the children.
