At the end of month four, April, We had some team changes. My new team, Abounding, was formed and we started our journey together in Kanchanaburi, Thailand. We spent month five, May, living with our contact, Pang and her family on their farm. We were blessed to be able to live with Pang, Arun (Pangs husband), Mary (Pangs daughter), Mom and Dad (Pangs parents), and Uncle and Aunt (Moms sister). We got to live life with this family all month, help them around the farm, and teach some English to the community.

We helped put bamboo sticks into the ground around the plants to help them grow.

We planted banana trees.

It was very hot in Thailand so we would usually spend the morning in the fields and then in the afternoon we would hang out with local kids at the lake and/or teach English. Some of the kids didn?t know how to swim so we spent some time teaching them how to swim.

The last week we focused on helping Pang set up an English camp. We visited schools, played with the kids, and invited them to come to the English camp. There were going to be 130 kids come but due to a military curfew, some of the schools were not open the day that we held the camp. We still had several children show up and we had a great time playing games and learning English!

I really enjoyed Thailand! We were blessed with a great family to live with and serve. Oh and how I miss moms cooking already. Mom cooked for us (lunch and dinner) every day and it was delicious Thai food!!
