Hello Friends!

My name is Isabelle Armour and I am beyond excited to be traveling to Ghana this summer to share the love of Jesus Christ! I heard about the World Race Semester Trips from a wonderful friend, mentor and sister in Christ: Emily. Emily had gone on one of the nine month missions trip that the World Race offered. I had mentioned to her that I wished the World Race offered shorter trips and that I would have loved to go on one before beginning college. To my surprise, she said that they did and encouraged me to take a look at their website. Well, one thing led to another and about three weeks later, I had submitted my application! Fast forward a few more weeks, and here we are! I am so completely confident that this is what God is calling me to do! I couldn’t possibly be any more ecstatic than I already am to embark on this journey and I am so honored that I get to share this life-changing experience with YOU!

As my blog develops and as we get closer to my launch date, I hope that you will see where my heart is at. My hope is that this blog will provide you with insight on what I am seeing, experiencing, and feeling as I prepare and leave for Ghana. With that being said, in order to understand me and my heart for this trip, you need to know me. So…I’ve compiled a list below of ten things that you might find interesting.

1) I am a senior in high school and I plan on attending college in the Fall of 2020.

2) I am one of four adopted children.

3) I have moved around quite a lot, but the majority of those moves have been to different places in Ohio.

4) I love theatre and I am involved in my school’s drama department.

5) I love reading and writing (my favorite author is Jane Austen).

6) My favorite color is blue. All colors of blue. I’m not picky.

7) My favorite food is mac n’ cheese. Especially, my dad’s homemade mac n’ cheese.

8) I have five pets (one dog, three cats, and one rabbit).

9) I have an obsession with apple juice.

10) I love all things peppermint, lavender, and vanilla.

I am so excited to see how God is going to work through me and, again, I can’t wait to share this with you! Thank you so much for choosing to join me on this trip of a life-time!
