Sometimes you just have to shovel up pig poop…
So my team and I are about to finish up our first week in Leshie, Albania. This is my six month on the mission field, third continent and sixth country. I have been a pretty busy guy but what can I say God has blessed me with this great life I have. I may never go home, just don’t tell my mom… Oh wait she reads my blogs, sorry Mom! But anyways I just love every single moment of this opportunity that I might pursue missions after I finish the World Race.
While I am prayfully considering doing long term mission in one country let me tell you what I am doing in Albania. My team have been working on a farm in a summer camp center for children. We are preparing the center for the next coming summer which the ministry is called “LightForce” which has three goals for the ministry: spreading the gospel, planting churches and developing sustainable projects!
So far my team and have been shoveling pig poop in the pigs. They have three boars, thirty-three sows and a hundred and thirty-nine piglets. That is our daily chore we do every morning and I love it! Not the fact that I am shoveling pig poop but the fact that Albania reminds me how much I love and miss home. I am really proud of we’re I have come from and thank everyone back home for getting me here.
Other thing we have done all week is cleaning out the goat shed which meant we were leveling the whole floor which we just now got done. It was amazing how my team and I had a great attitude this past week. I can’t wait to see how this whole month goes.
