I hope this title doesn’t offend anybody but its really not what my blogs are about. I don’t mean to be bold but I really do not want people to get irritated with my blogs. I’m really just writing on here to enhance in Gods kingdom and to share my journey around the world with everyone…
I’m sorry to start out like that but I felt like that needed to be addressed. But the reason for this title is that God has put this on my heart and I just really feel led to share my heart on the people that show drunkenness and people who are homeless. I just have such a big heart for people in general and it shows so much beat in my heart that I just want give all my clothes, money and personal items to all of them. But then some things come to mind is that its what they chose,or they are going to spend it on booze or weed and they don’t care about us they want to take advantage of good people like me.
I mean I have had people come to me like close friends that just ask me for favors and money because i sometimes just can’t say no….
It’s like I want acceptance from everyone but sometimes its ok to say no and keep things to yourself. It doesn’t mean your selfish it just means your taking care of yourself.
But sometimes we really just don’t know how the homeless and drunks even start out to become that or where there past has started. I know we as humans are very quick to judge on this because I know I am, I’m probably the first one to do it. So let me tell you a little story about a man who came into a Starbucks everyday and saw this homeless guy right by the door. He looked at him and just felt like he needed to talk to him. So this homeless guy said he was from Jamaica and moved to America to live a better life. But it didn’t turn out to be like that since he could not find a job and didn’t know anyone in the United States. So after he had the conversation with him he asked if you would like to come to my apartment and have a shower and a fresh pair of clothes. Then he asked if he would like to stay with him until he could find him some work. So he ended up helping him get documentations and other paperwork followed so he can be eligible to work in the U.S. They went shopping and got a haircut so that he can look presentable and professional at his job interview. Then what do you know he got the JOB!
You see sometimes you never know when some peope are struggling in this world. I know it’s so hard to judge these situations because we can just take a advantage that were so afraid to take action. As i’ve been ministering on the streets of San Ignacio I just had so much recieving love from people in the community. I had conversation with a guy and he ended up buying me a coke because he enjoyed my company. It really seems like that the people in San Ignacio are a really tight community that even the people who live there look after the Drunks and homeless. Doesn’t matter where you have came from just show the love Jesus wherever you are. People get blessed because God shows love in so many people no matter the situation. I learned that God can turn any bad situation into a better one as long as you seek God and listen to him.
I love you all and please don’t be afraid to put your comment, Thank you!
