So this is my Wednesday post blog that i wanted to challenge myself to do every Wednesday. So here we are…. my team and I have had so much happen with our ATL (Ask The Lord) month that there’s just so much to share for to post more blogs this week. We have had two twin teenaged guys accepied our Lord as their personal savior, learn so many names of the people of San Ignacio, got to pray over the welders over their healing, become part of a church called ministry life, meet a woman from Indiana and got to play futbol with kids.
But reason for the title was about a man who God called to me. Yeah you heard me….. MEEE!!!!! The other night I heard a knock on the door and the man i saw gave me some barbecue chicken and tortillas. Which i immediatly thought was Jesus just gave me free food! So i went down to tell my team and shouted “LOOK WHAT JESUS GAVE US!” I was willing to share with my team and they were jumping with joy. So late that night when we got back from church I went up on the roof and found the man who gave me that food and thanked him. I also got a couple of my brothers to meet him. But as soon as we were about to go to bed he was wilying to share what God spoke to him about. First he wanted to thank us for coming to Belize because he found out that why we were here without having to tell him. How he found out was the night before when I came up on the roof and at first didn’t even know he was up there because of how dark it was. But he notice i had a bible in my hand and that is when he knew that God answered his prayer! He was telling us how he is a police officer and how Belize is breaking away to know that this is our mission to spread the love of Jesus to Belize. After all that he asked me personally that if i can pray for him and boy was i struck by the Holy spirit that night.
As i pray, “ oh papa thank you much for your gifts and kindness and love for all that you do for me and my team and the family and friends who follow my blog. I pray that something would speak through you as others read my blog and pray that i can be influenced myself. Jesus you give us so many chances that we don’t deserve. I pray for all the people we minister to and for the people from home. We love you in your name, Amen!”
