Welcome to my World Race blog!
In September I am embarking on the adventure of a lifetime: a journey through 11 countries in 11 months, all while living a life of service out of a backpack.
Zimbabwe/Botswana – South Africa – Swaziland – India – Philippines – China
Ukraine – Moldova – Honduras – Nicaragua – Costa Rica/Panama
When I first heard about the World Race, my mind was literally blown.
The trip is a journey around the world focused on discipleship and raw faith. It teaches young people how to rise up to the challenge of addressing the needs of a broken world. Now I am officially part of this program, which has a strong vision of hearts beating for change.
A lot of people have asked me how I feel about fundraising, particularly the substantial challenge of $15,500. Honestly, I consider it a joy. I’m at a point in my life where I really feel God’s call to serve others, and I know I will be very blessed from taking a step of faith and going on this journey. I would like to invite you to share this opportunity and be blessed as well, knowing that I can help you do something to help the world. If you have ever wanted to help orphans with AIDS, victims of sex trafficking, or the poor who are cast off from society, we can do that together! Anyone can contribute in a significant way and your prayers are greatly appreciated.
I would love it if you could join me on this journey! I will keep you updated about my trip with this blog, and you can receive email alerts by subscribing. I have kept a travel blog in the past at iberg226.blogspot.com, but this one will be more personal and full of thoughts and life changes rather than just experiences.
Feel free to contact me with questions or comments, even if you don’t know me!
Thank you for taking the time to check out my blog. 🙂
