Good Wednesday morning everyone! I am currently in Lima, Peru after a 26+ hour bus ride from La Paz, Bolivia, enjoying the quietness of the lobby at our hostel while everyone else sleeps. It is barely 6:00a, but I have so much on my mind to share that I wanted some extra time before my team leaves today on a 10 hour bus ride north to Trujillo to meet up with our hosts for our next ministry. But let’s talk about Bolivia first, in its finest…with photos.
The ministry:
Baking class every Monday.

Sports usually three or more times a week…. soccer, basketball, “volleyball”, etc.

Worship every weekday morning.

Games every Wednesday afternoon…Jenga anyone?
Making homemade bread for all the houses.

Washing everyone’s feet before our last meal together.

The people:
Hermano Angel leading worship in the morning.

Ana with Ezekiel in a small town plaza.

Edson and Lizeth, one of the couples at our rehab house… extremely warm and wonderful people!

Schayla and Ivan, another amazing couple & Ezekiel’s parents.
The food:
Tea every morning and most evenings.

Homemade Bread (I have the recipe).

Soup for first course at every lunch. Delicious!

Amazing homemade meals with a lot of vegetables!
The views:
La Paz and part of the Andes from El Alto, our ministry town for the month.

View of “Dragon Cliff” on our way to natural hot springs.

Lake Titicaca after our picnic.

Gorgeous mountains all month.

Intimacy with God:
I read through the book of Romans…. LOVED IT!

God moved so much during my month in Bolivia….I cannot wait to see what he does in PERU!
I hope he continues to move in your life as well. And if you don’t think he is moving, please read Isaiah 41: 9-10.
With so much joy,
Isa
