This week has started out incredibly busy.  This weekend I cheered on a friend in a local parade, another in a holiday concert, I cut down a Christmas tree & decorated my parent’s house for the holidays and I coordinated a darling friend’s wedding.  I am shocked I made time for all of it.

What I didn’t make time for, however, is prayer.  I have two very important fundraisers happening this week and I feel slightly overwhelmed.  Would you please keep these events in your prayers.

My “Rooted in Love” t-shirt fundraiser ends this Friday.  The shirts, which come in blue, purple or grey are $20 each.  Youth sizes are available from M-XL, and adult sizes are available from S-XXL.  My goal from the beginning was to have 50 shirts purchase.  So far I am at 36.

My second fundraiser, the Chilly Winter Soup Tasting is also happening this Friday, December 13th from 6:00-8:00p at Woodview Church of the Nazarene.  There will be homemade soup, snacks, sweet treats and a silent pie auction to help raise support for my 11 month journey.  There is a suggested donation of $10 per person, but any donation is a blessing and kids under 10 eat free.  The Lord has continually moved my spirit to prepare for 100 guests, but at the moment I only know of 17 who have said they are coming.  This is a huge number difference but I am confident that God is moving.

Please pray for God’s provision and moreover for the Holy Spirit to work in the hearts of many.  These fundraisers are an opportunity for fellowship, an opportunity for prayer and an opportunity to reflect God’s love.
