So its time I shared a lil bit about my family here

My team is named free people!

This is us: Caroline Johnson, Michelle Wright, Abby Evaniuk, Kate Remsburger, and Marissa Martinez. And me.

Carol is mom. She is from Atlanta, GA. She is majoring in English and minoring in Spanish, and is fluent and has SUCH a passion for Latin America. My bet is that she will end up here somewhere within the next 5 years. She is also such a strong example of living by faith and carries the gentlest of wisdom.

Michelle is my Canandian. She lives in Toronto. She is crazy musically talented, can sing beautifully, and is one of the friendliest people I know. She reminds me to keep a positive attitude literally just by being herself. She is so strong willed, obedient and runs after what the Lord has for her with unfailing trust.

Abby Ann, kindred spirit. She grew up in Ohio and goes to school in Colorado. She is very easy going and has such an approachable and welcoming soul, and is the kind of person that makes you feel comfortable with just a smile. She has a rooted, grounded relationship with the lord and has such a servant heart.

Kate ! She is from New York, and lives on a cattle farm. She is a get things done kinda person, walks in the spirit with confidence and is so inspiring. She is hilarious, tells the best stories, and has such a gift for praying powerful prayers.

And Mar. Marissa lives in Indianapolis. She is half Puerto Rican and is such a wild nugget, so artistically talented, and has a very deep and unique relationship with Jesus. She is always down to adventure, be crazy, talk about anything under the sun.

A few weeks ago, our squad had some team changes. That meant the people we had been living with for the first4 months of the race could potentially not be the people we would be living with, doing ministry with, anymore. And for some people, that was the case.

But not for us, we were one of the 2 teams that stayed the same. And I think it was for a reason. Every single one of these girls adds so much to my life. They are the people I want to be wit, hang out with, celebrate with, and encourage. I felt like since we were fortunate enough to still have each other, yall should know some things about these lovely ladies at least.

I just feel blessed to have friendships that have turned into family. Thank you Jesus!

Guys, i just wanna remind yall to TREASURE the community, family, and friends that invest in you and walk alongside you. that is all:)
