Here is a snippet of my journey in faith…
I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart;
I have declared Your faithfulness and Your salvation;
I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great assembly.
{Psalm 40:10}
God is so amazing with the way that He lavishes me as His child.
Granted, I am a missionary and I'm not out here to take a walk in the park…
He is faithful to call me into abundant living.
When Jesus says "abundant" He means lavish!
God delights that much more when He surprises me with amazing, amazing gifts that touch my heart.
(this is how baby lions are made)
…Jesus liked the idea of letting me see a big lion upclose and live to tell…
…and Jesus & I both laughed when we captured this moment…
…and Jesus kept me safe when I sat in the brush and snapped this…
…and I saw some Pumbas…aka warthogs…
…and wildebeasts are pretty cool too…
…and Jesus made this cute little baby giraffe strike a pose…
…and then Jesus let me pet a baby lion making a silly face…
…and Jesus protected me when baby lion got grumpy…
…and I admired God's beautiful creations upclose.
You think that's great?
Month 2: I got blessed again when I couldn't afford to join my team on a safari…
Here I am on safari again at Mongena Park…
…and we had a close, personal encounter with a wild elephant…
…and Jesus let me catch this zebra prancing…
…and I had an amazing day relaxing with my whole team!
So you think even month 2 was great!?
I just got blessed with the gift of going to Kruger National park on an all-day safari by the owner of the travellers inn where we are staying for debrief!
All I can say is…
I love the way Jesus rains His blessings on me!
