So I’m super excited to kick my first fundraiser into gear. This is one that when I’ve shared it with people they seemed excited about and although I’ve seen a couple people do it, I also think it’s pretty unique in its own right. What is it you ask? Well it’s ADOPT A DAY! So this is how it works:
You pick out a day! This can be maybe an anniversary, a birthday, the day you got your pet, the first time you ever ate a corn dog. Completely up to you! After you’ve chosen a day all you have to do is donate. You can donate whatever amount you feel like giving. Again it’s completely up to you! But after you donate all you have to do is get in contact with me and let me know which day you’ve “adopted.”
So here’s the cool part. I’ll write that day down in my handy dandy calendar and do something special for you on that day while I’m on the World Race. Whether it’s write you a letter, make a video for what I’m doing that day, or whatever. Basically I want you to be able to see firsthand where your donation is going! This is a way that you know exactly what I’m doing on your special day. It’s a win win because you get to be more involved with my trip and I love being able to show you exactly what I’m doing. Wait Ian is it really that simple? Heck yeah it is!
RECAP: Click the orange donate button and give whatever you feel called to give, then get in contact with me and let me know what day you’re adopting. Then on that day you’ll get something special from me to you! If you have a preference of what you want me to do for you just let me know and I can make sure to do it!
I’m stuck between either the Bad Kitties Calendar or the Underwater Dogs one. I’ll letcha know which one I decide on.
