"Behold, how good and how pleasant it is
For brothers to dwell together in unity!" – Psalm 133:1
This one's for you Mom!
*I say this because my mom will want to know who is going to be my support for the next year
I would just like to share with you all who my family/team is going to be for the next year (generally). First I need to explain some World Race lingo!
Racer: me! It's just simply someone who is participating in The World Race
Squad: a group of 40-60 Racers split into teams of six to eight Racers, who travel together on the
World Race. Once a Squad reaches its country for the month, the teams will typically spread out to
different ministry sites
Squad Leaders: during the first few months of the Race, 2-3 alumni Racers lead the squad.
Squad Leaders oversee the spiritual health and progress of the entire squad. After the first few months,
Racers identified and trained by the alumni Squad Leaders and Squad Leader Trainer/Mentors, assume
leadership for the remaining duration of the Race.
Team: a group of 6-8 Racers who do life together: community-living, ministry, travel. They build
each other up and hold each other accountable. They get real and raw with each other in an effort to
stretch, change, and grow.
Team Leader: a fellow squadmate who has been chosen by Squad Trainers and Squad Leaders to lead six to eight peers in one of the smaller teams that will make up the larger squad
First off, know that teams and leadership AND our route can change at anytime. So if you see that there is a change later down the road in our team, just remember that! Now I don't know my team insanely well but I have at least got a glimpse into each of their bright spirits for God. Our team name is Team Ru-ah. Ru-ah is Hebrew for "wind, breath, and Spirit of God." Without further ado let me do a short intro on my family/team!
Taylor Scott:

Well she is Romanian.. nah that's just an inside joke. Hannah is a woman who is open for growth. And to me, that's exactly how we all should be. Plus, she knows Bon Qui-Qui! CLICK HERE for her blog!
Katy Greene:
Katy is one of a kind! Super fun and has an insanely likeable spirit. Katy will be a very valuable person to do ministry with and just someone to know. And I am SO EXCITED for it!!! CLICK HERE for her blog!
Leslie Oxford:
Yes, Oxford. Like the University of Oxford. Like Professor Charles Xavier went there. Leslie is one very bright person. She inspires me to be much more open on my worship to God! CLICK HERE for her blog!

(É) Steve Gonzalez (super all-star):
I got to know Steve very well throughout Training Camp so I could really go on and on about how much of an inspiration he is. For now just know that he is Christ-like, he is a servant and he is a leader who is worthy to be able to serve. CLICK HERE for his blog!
I love this team. And I love them more everyday. This is my family. This is Team Ru-ah.
Please keep each of us in your prayers as we begin this journey together.
Below is a video that I put together showing our team day out. When we found out who our teams were, we were given several hours to make a memory and form a team name. Basically it was the best day of Training Camp!
