"Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer."   – Romans 12:12

We as missionaries seem to push the boundaries in what is acceptable for Christians and society for spreading the Gospel. We are to respect our mothers & fathers, superiors, elders, government, and countless others. But sometimes I have to ask the question:

Is this really worth it?

We have so many rules and regulations on how and when we can share God's Word.
So much control as to how we should be doing things.
Why can't we just be free? Isn't that what God wants for us? Sometimes I doubt that.

Love your neighbor but get to know your Christian neighbor better.
Honor your mother and father unless they are theologically incorrect.
Don't have idols but have passions to use for ministry.

How can we keep up with this life that has such a fine line.
We have to stay in the middle of not going too far on either side.
But be on one side enough to get societies attention of what we are trying to do.

Jumping from country to country continues to become disparage with this thought.
In one country I will illegally enter their schools without the authorities consent,
Another I will hammer on peoples doors demanding to tell them about our Lord.

Why did God call me to do this insane task? I am not good enough!
I am not the right person; I scare too easily and doubt too much.
This God has asked too much of me this time.

This God who has done everything that is, was, and will become.
Our Lord who has constantly showed us evidence of His divinity and humanity.
He is the One who has been there for me completely.

I come to pause and stop complaining and look at the bigger picture.
God has brought me here on this Earth simply to love me.
Lucifer is the one who has tried to take me out and tell me this isn't worth the pain.

The blessings, love, and growth in a relationship with a God who has done everything;
Those things far outweigh the pain of doing the hard work.
I am a missionary and I have answered His call.

These last two months I have been taking a step back and seeing the bigger picture. I challenge you to do the same. Stop looking at the little problems and see what the big outcome is.

I am still in need of $1,900 by October 1. Please donate, pray, share, or just encourage me!

THIS ISN'T AT ALL!!!

Last month we filmed a series of videos called The Real World Race. It depicts us as missionaries being real, telling how it is, and also seeing the good in the bad. Below are Parts 1, 2, and 3!!!!!!! Watch, share, be a part of this mission of reaching 11 Countries in 11 Months.

I love you!
