4 more months left of the race… I can’t believe how fast time has gone. Currently we are in a grace period of the world race where I only have a little longer to fundraise money. I’m so close to being fully funded I can taste it, but I need just a little more help so please give what you can. If you are wondering why or what the money might be going towards I will explain. Currently I am in Johannesburg, South Africa, and we are working with impact Africa. Over the past couple days we went to a place they call a “squatter camp”, which is where people all over Africa come. It’s full of poverty, filled with poorly put together shacks, and there are thousands of people. They all came to Johannesburg looking for jobs, and when they couldn’t get any they ended up in these camps. So we go through these camps and preach about the good news that is Jesus Christ, and in these short days we have had 50 people come to Christ. God has been working so hard throughout these past couple of months, guiding us to be where we need to be. Recently while I was talking to two women from Zimbabwe, I learned that God set up our meeting. God called me away from my home and everything from there I love so much so that I could come and uplift these people to Jesus, even if they don’t quite accept what I am saying right away. God needs me to be here to play a small part that could possibly change their life. I’m not saying this to boast about myself, because God does this with every person on my team! And even you, or with anyone you meet from day to day. Somehow God made your paths cross and you might only have one minute to spread the love of God and it could save that person from an eternity in Hell. I have learned so much as God has used me to advance the kingdom and I just know that there is so much more yet to come. Each month, each week, God teaches me something new that will help me be a better man of Christ. For now, I’m asking for just a little more support so I can finish my race with out the stress of fundraising.
