Hi everyone!
It is with great excitement that I get to say I am fully funded for my World Race trip! I understand that it shows my target has not been met yet, but I have some money coming in from a company fundraiser (shout out Accenture for being such an incredible company to work for and for granting me a one year leave of absence!! :)). I cannot say thank you enough for all of the generosity and support that I have received from so many individuals.
Over the past few months, I have done some personal study on the topic of money, read “God and Money”, a book by two Harvard MBA students, whose view of money was completely flipped on it’s head, and started Randy Alcorn’s Treasure Principle. These studies in addition to my fundraising efforts have taught me A LOT about generosity and how I want to handle the money God gives me for the rest of my life. Being on the receiving end of generosity has had a profound impact on me and I am excited for the years to come where I can share the gift of generosity with those around me. Thank you thank you once again! I am super excited for the trip and can’t believe it is almost here! 🙂
