I am working this month with a ministry here in Thailand called Remember Nhu. I am loving this place and loving the kids in this place.
They have truly changed my perspective on the sex industry and keeping children from being sold into the sex industry.
The girls and boys at this home's names are kept secret, as well as the location, because there are predators in Thailand who are looking every day for more children to bring into their brothels. It costs roughly about $1 for each time a child is purchased for sex and are usually purchased 15 times in one day.
The amazing thing about Remember Nhu is that they are catching the children before they enter the brothels and saving them from a life of pain and hurt. The chiefs of the villages contact them whenever they know that one of the families is needing money and thinking about selling their children. Remember Nhu is slowly forming relationships with the families in the Hill Tribes of Northern Thailand and the demand for space in the homes is growing rapidly.
They are currently building a new home for the girls in the video and are needing to build a new home for the boys. The demand for small boys in the sex industry has grown rapidly over the past year and they are quickly filling up their current home.
