God pursues my heart without relent.

He aggressively seeks my relationship even when I am not seeking Him.

As I was driving to Austin, TX to speak the other day, I realized that I had not spent much time with God since returning to America.  I had become busy again and didn't make time for my Father to speak.  I neglected our relationship.

He didn't neglect me.

He sought me out in many different ways.

While I was visiting friends in Encinitas, CA I had the opportunity to go on an adventure.  Josh started the adventure not knowing where we were going or what we were going to do.

Only an idea.

We ended up at the beach, watching the seals and admiring the beauty of God's creation.

As we were walking away, one of the seals swam up to the shore right by Josh, Briana and I.  Then it did something completely crazy.

I mean it literally blew my mind.

It looked right at us and waved his little paw up at us.

Then zoomed off into the ocean blue.

It blew all of our minds, we looked at each other and laughed.  It was a truly amazing experience that I got to spend with great friends.

What I didn't realize until later was that….

It was also an intimate experience.

God was pursuing me.  He wanted to talk, He wanted my attention and He was willing to do anything to find me.

I sat down with God the next day and He spoke to me in an amazing way.  My cup was running over and I felt full again.

Coming home to Texas has been nothing short of hectic.  I arrived home and immediately left home for Austin to speak at an event hosted by Austin Ridge Bible Church.  Then arriving home from Austin, I left to go to Arlington to help my grandfather remodel a rent house.

During all of it, I was texting a squadmate Brittany Baker.  I told her where I was at and that I hadn't been spending enough quite time with God.  She told me something so simple but so profound.  I wrote it down.

Grace, grace, grace!  You connect with God through beauty and adventure.  Don't fall into what you have escaped.  Live life and find him every day.  He is proud of you.  I promise.

I have neglected my quite time, my daily ritual and my morning coffee since being back in America.  But, I have not neglected my connection with the Father.

My connection with the Father comes from more places than just a few normal Christian practices.

I see him every day in nature, He shows himself to me and then our conversation begins from there.  Some days, I have to seek him out but His beauty and His adventure always seem to find me.

As I sat down today in Eustace, TX.  Finally home and finally free, God gave me a vision of something greater.

Most of you know that I am working on making a new blog page so that the "Mustache Ministries and Bearded Adventures" can continue to share stories from the world.  And share what God is doing through my life.

But, He gave me a vision for something greater than myself or my resources.

An invitation to invite men to connect on my website through testimonial videos called, "Intimate Honesty."
A space to write how God is speaking through extreme and life adventures.
And then a place for blogging and featuring bloggers who are risking it for the Kingdom of God.

The trinity, as Kelly King describes it, will be geared towards men and invite men to step out in honesty and boldness.

Please join me in prayer as I start this new adventure with God.  The journey is already beyond my financial resources and creative intuition.  It's truly a vision from God and He is going to have to provide.

Please pray.
