I am currently petitioning the warden to see about an early release date. I’ve just been miserable here for the last week since being back from the music festival in Oaxaca, seems there is a world outside of the Gateway.Sure my last blog seemed a bit repetitious,but thats where I am at and it is my blog. Have you ever seen COOL HAND LUKE? Luke gets the rabbit (keeps trying to escape). I’m feeling like Luke lately. Yet the Lord won’t let me run. Sometimes he uses these times to draw us to him. Talked to one of my best friends yesterday Everett from Chicago. Wev’e been friends for 13 years. We used to do drugs and drink together. Hes still using,but said he’s at a turning point in his life. I believe him we have a strong rapport,and have always been honest and open with each other. He’s always known that I am a believer, and the coolest thing has happened the Lord has used someone else to draw him to church. He’s attending a church in the windy where there focus is the homosexual community drunks addicts and the homeless sounds like a ministry I’d like to be a part of .Just feel like I should mention my other best friend Mark who is currently in prison back in Michigan. There is a reason these two are so close to my heart wev’e al three had some very similar painful experiences in our lives and the Lord has just put them on my heart. I just ask everyone who reads thi s ? Please join me in a prayer for Everett Mark and myself. Lord I bow before you and ask that you fix your eyes on each of us stare through the pain of the past Hurts and mistakes bad choices and hate and look at who you created us to be Lord and bring that into fruition for your glory in Jesus name Amen.
