Good day today left San Pedro, now at Panajachel where I ran into Hieme a man who lost everything in the mudslide & his son has been traumatized by the grief of losing everything. I had helped Hieme with rebuilding his home before I got sick. I was walking down the street & Hieme pulled me over on his bicycle & asked me to come & have dinner with him & his family tommorrow night at 6, just a small gift from God for I’ve been feeling down because the last week has been spent recovering from being sick. I hadn’t been doing a lot of ministering other than spending time with my friend Brian, it gets hard sometimes when you don’t see results or feel appreciated, but seeing Heime was a refreshing breath of air. He had a smile on his face & was very happy to see me. I stopped by to see how the house was coming tonight as they were cooking dinner over an open flame & they made me a sandwhich & a cup of coffee. He introduced me to his family & we joked around for a few minutes. Sometimes the smallest things pick you up. I also saw the Blue, Lime & Yellow teams & they were more than happy to see me & that was quite nice too. Here for the weekend then off for Matamoros on Monday.
