Guatamala is crazy! We arrived here last evening. And from the onslaught it has been nuts.
Broke down last night across from a church. Went over and talked to the pastor, who in turn invited us to share what we were doing at church. They cooked us dinner, toast with jelly and Pepsi. Spent the evening with the pastor and his family. Then continued towords our destination … San Pedro, the volocano at 1 a.m. in the morning.
Going through the mountains at 80 mph on a bus with a spotter climbing out the door onto the roof continuously throughout the 5 hr. trip. Arrived at the volocano and tried to trek it only to turn around and keep turning around. Until I finally laid down 36 hrs. later. This trip is both wonderful and tumultuous. You can pray for myself and my teammates as we pour ourselves into people and each other as God leads us.
Ministry is my greatest joy. I love just talking about the Lord. What He has done in my life and what He can do in yours. I am really expecting the Lord to show up powerfully in ministry time. Not that He already hasnt. I have people crying all of the time while I minister to them. I really want to see God start healing people. And wanting the Lord to knit my life into the Body more. He is working on freeing me and I want to enjoy the process. San Pedro is beautiful. The people here need Jesus. Poverty and crime are rampant. I pray God will use me wherever I am.
