Went to
San Antonio to the Veteran’s

Administration
Hospital last week. The Lord put me in the path of a young man who had just gotten kicked out of rehab. I got to spend a whole night ministering to him at the bus stop about the power of God, what God’s done in my life. I love it when the Lord uses me like this, unexpectedly. I don’t know what could be better. The young man, Travis, was from

Colorado, and had been busted with eight grams of crystal math, and was given the choice of rehab or nine to fifteen years in prison. So I spent the night talking to him about God’s plan for his life versus throwing his life away, following his own ways, letting the enemy have ground in his life. He seemed to be very receptive, and in the morning, was able to get a hold of another rehab center, and get accepted in. Back here at the Gateway, I’ve been working on the bathhouse (construction project) and have been invited to a praise and worship festival by one of the MTI students. That takes place annually in the mountains near

Mexico City. Will leave for there on Sunday. Excellent opportunity for evangelism, and praying that the Lord will move in my life and through my life. Most of my days here at the Gateway consist of: get up, breakfast, work, dinner, worship, shower, unwind, go to bed, and repeat. This is not what I had in mind when I signed up for the world race, but the Lord knew what was in store, and this is still missions work, regardless. Please pray that God will continue to lead me and refine me. God bless, Hugh.
