I arrived to Mexico City on Sunday with my friend David from the Missionary Training Institute, met his mother and had a long conversation about the power of God in our lives. She asked me to preach the following night, Monday. I reluctantly accepted. Don’t care to speak in public and have never preached a sermon, but I knew the Lord was in it. So I prayed and asked the Lord to tell me what he would have me preach. Believe the Lord led me to psalm 34, so I took psalm 34 appart verse by verse and spoke of what the Lord has taught me through my life about each verse. The evening seemed to go O.K. There was a pastor present from Mexico City who works with the homeless, drunks, and addicts. He invited me to come preach. The Lord seemed to have moved as everyone who was present asked for prayer at the close of the meeting. I thank the Lord for growing me and using me and I pray that he would continue to fill my mouth when I open it with the things of God. I am leaving now for the festival in Oaxaca. Will talk to you in a couple days. Please pray God will continue to move in and through my life and will supply all my needs here in the missions field. Adios Hugh
