Got back from Oaxaca yesterday.  Overall the music festival was awesome, the people were really cool.  Did not care for the music – heavy metal Christian, but I understand what it’s geared toward, drawing in the unrepentant, people who are wrapped up in drugs and alcohol.  And to that end, it suits its purpose.  I gave my testimony, and afterward had a young lady approach me about her friend, and was able to counsel her in regards to his addiction and the things he’s running from.  I told her that she has to have God’s love for him, because our love is imperfect and often selfish, that she needed to be long-suffering and an intercessor, and that things might not work out the way she plans.  But if she has God’s heart for him then that stuff won’t matter.  I’ve been invited back to Mexico City to preach at two different locations.  The house church that I preached at last Monday night and also the mother church.  I’ve not accepted yet because I’m under AIM’s authority, so we’ll see what God has in store there.  Overall things are going well, and I’m just trying to stay in the center of God’s will.  I feel as though the Lord is really asking me to seek him, to press into him.  He’s opening new doors and I believe that he wants to put some old things to rest, that I can walk in the fullness of what he has for me, so he can use me to do his work.  So if you’re praying for me, just pray that Christ will raise up in me and both to seek and do his will.  Thank you for all your prayers and support.  Shalom, Hugh.
